The Log Church: Upcoming Events and Opportunities
Greetings, Church Family!
As we journey into the new year, The Log Church is excited to share a variety of events and opportunities designed to foster spiritual growth, community connection, and service. Here’s what’s coming up:
TLC Membership Class
Starting January 12th, we will offer a three-week membership class, with a makeup session on February 2nd. These classes will be held after Sunday worship in the Jordan Room, adjacent to the Fellowship Hall. To register, please email Sarah at sarah@crosslakeefc.org.
A Grace-Based Marriage: Couples Bible Study
Beginning Wednesday, January 15th, at 6:30 PM in the Sanctuary, Scott and April Tappe will lead a couples’ Bible study focusing on building grace-filled marriages. For more information, contact them at marriage@crosslakeefc.org.
Pizza with the Pastor
On Sunday, February 16th, following the worship service, Pastor Troy will host a meal for approximately 12 people in the Fellowship Hall. This gathering is ideal for those interested in learning more about the church and its ministries. Congregational Meeting
Mark your calendars for Sunday, February 23rd, following the worship service, for our congregational meeting. All are welcome to attend.
Tuesday Morning Women’s Bible Study
Join us on Tuesdays at 10:30 AM as we delve into Max Lucado’s 52-week study, “Experiencing the Heart of Jesus.” For more details, contact Jeanne Schultz at 218-232-8397.
Youth Group: Way of the Rabbi Series
On Wednesday, January 15th, our youth group will continue the “Way of the Rabbi” series, focusing on prayer. This session will explore Jesus’ teachings on trusting God with our prayers.
Wednesday Night Meal
Join us on January 15th from 5:30-6:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall for a meal featuring individual pizzas, pineapple, cookies, and lemonade. A suggested donation of $5 per person or $10 per family is appreciated.
Sanctity of Human Life Sunday
On January 19th, we observe Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, honoring the sacredness of human life and committing to its protection at every stage.
Abide: An Evening of Worship & Prayer
Join us on Sunday, January 19th, from 5:30-7:30 PM in the Sanctuary for an evening dedicated to worship and prayer.
Faith Community Nurses Team
We are pleased to welcome Alane Cornelius to our Faith Community Nurses team, alongside Karlyn Anderson and Joy Hogen.
Office Volunteers Needed
