Lord, help us to live out our faith in ways that glorify You. Give us a heart that listens to Your Spirit and a willingness to act in obedience. May our faith be real, producing good works that reflect Your love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

True faith treats all people with love and fairness, without favoritism. James challenges us to examine our hearts, urging us to show mercy and kindness regardless of status or wealth. As God is impartial, we are called to reflect His love, acting with justice, grace, and compassion daily.

As I prepared this week’s message, I was reminded of a show I watched as a young lad. The show was called
“Mr. Ed” you know the one. “A horse is a horse, of course, of course, and no one can talk to a horse, of course.” That is, of course, unless the horse is the famous Mister Ed.”

I’m sure you have heard the old saying, “The devil made me do it.” Have you ever considered that we might be giving to much credit to Satan?

James 1:1, “James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes scattered among the nations: Greetings.”
